Civil Discourse with Citizen Tripp | Episode 4: Defining Modern Progress

LIVE PANEL WITH CITIZEN TRIPP
WATCH NOW

Hosted by Tripp Gomez, this panel brings together organizers, mutual-aid leaders, educators and community builders in a conversation that helps how we contemplate civic life—grounded in the belief that community is not something we wait for, but something we practice.

Featuring Unbraced Sun, Rev DeBorah, Nan, Miranda, David Larrick Smith and Tony. Together, they explore how power is exercised outside of headlines—through legislative districts, food access, mutual aid networks, de-escalation and the often invisible work of rebuilding trust.

The panel traces a shared understanding: apathy is not neutral, and participation does not require perfection. Progress, they suggest, is less about sweeping reforms than about sustained, local acts of care, accountability and dialogue—especially across differences.

Host Tripp Gomez poses a question for all of us to answer:
"If we truly believed in ourselves and those around us, what could we accomplish?"
