About HYVEMIND

Hyvemind is an independent newsroom and storytelling platform working to build collective understanding around the systems and conditions shaping culture, identity, place and power.

Our work brings together reporting and original contributions from our community of artists, educators, writers and civic workers who share editorial authority in shaping our coverage.

Together, our perspectives weave personal experience, societal life and systems analysis into stories that help people better understand themselves, their communities and the world they’re moving through.

Beyond publication, Hyvemind operates as a digital third space where members gather and connect for workshops, events and social connection.

What we do

We build containers for people to share, exchange, heal and grow through community-powered storytelling, spaces and resources that help us live, work and care better, together. We do this through:

  • Stories that map the connections between personal and systemic wellbeing.

  • Projects co-created with local contributors to amplify underrepresented voices and regional narratives.

  • A growing community of grassroots groups, artists, helpers and community resources featured in our reporting.

    Visit The HYVE.

  • Essays and multimedia exploring how art, design and media reflect collective resilience.
