6 Breathwork Recordings for When You Need a Reset Now
Breathwork with Chuck McGee III carried me through the isolation of 2020. Throughout the past few years, I have leaned on the techniques from his free online sessions and recordings daily, sometimes multiple times a day.
Chuck taught me how to interrupt a panic attack with the breath, how to clear my sinuses, and where to tap along my ribs when it felt too hard to get a decent breath. He showed me how conscious breathing can ease pain and even induce states of euphoria. He is an exceptional teacher.
With Chuck’s permission, I’m sharing his latest newsletter with Hyvemind.
Much of what Chuck describes below mirrors my own experience. I have used his recordings in moments of total overwhelm, emotional intensity and nervous system overload.
I encourage readers to try out a few recordings and see what resonates with them. There are multiple breathwork techniques available in this list, offering different methods for different nervous system needs.
Iced Viking Breathworks Newsletter: Breathwork for Stressful Moments
I’ve recently heard from several community organizers here in the US and worldwide that some of the weekly breathwork recordings are being used during or after stressful moments, and have been effective for providing a calm and safe space for both individuals and groups.
Below is a carefully cultivated list of breathwork recordings that are designed to guide one into a state of calm, helping to navigate stressful situations with clarity and ease. They provide simple, effective techniques to regulate the nervous system, slow the mind and reconnect with the breath. Accessible anytime, they’re a practical tool to cultivate peace, presence and resilience—giving you a portable sanctuary of calm whenever life feels overwhelming.
Please feel free to share this with anyone and everyone who needs a bit of extra support during a trying time.
